Fall Fun

One night we were a little bored so Ryan and Kinley did a project. They made these awesome turkey hats for all of us. I think that they did a really great job. Kinley loved it as well. She loved being able to spend some time alone with her Daddy and also that she was able to staple and glue them together. She really likes arts and crafts and we love seeing her little mind work.

This is her smiling for the camera. It looks more like she is just showing off her teeth to me though. She was being a scary turkey :)

Isn't she stylin????? She had found a new pink comb and was putting it to good use. She likes wearing her glasses like Mommy and she loves her glass slippers! Here she is getting ready for the day. Combing her hair and all :) She would use the comb while looking in her little mirror then she would put them in her purse and walk around then come right back and do it all over again.

So, every day she goes to her room for nap time, but I never find her in her room when I go to wake her up. She has figured out how to open the door to her room, so now she has the entire upstairs to play in. Everyday she changes her clothes while she is up there. Usually she puts on pajamas but this day she just decided to go natural. This is how I found her in the guest room closet. She had finally falled asleep but I am not sure how. This does not look comfortable at all. Kinley you always keep me on my toes and life is never boring when you are around. We love you!

Kinley and Dancing with the Stars

We started to watch Dancing with the Stars this year and Kinley loved it! We even had to buy her a leotard and we put her in this tutu that she wore when she was a baby. She loved it. Every Monday night she would see the show come on and say " OH I better go get my dancing clothes on!" Then she would run up to her room to get ready. She is such a great dancer. I will post a video some other time. Ryan has her shaking her booty, marching, and playing the air guitar on her leg. Yes, she will lift up one leg and use it as her guitar. It is hilarious! I love her energy and love for life and dancing.

My little ballerina

This was so cute. One day I was cleaning up after breakfast so I layed Gracie on the floor by Kinley while she watched cartoons. I just thought it was so cute because literally for one hour Gracie just layed there and stared at her sister. Every now and then she would loose her binky and Kinley would promptly put it back in for her and say "Its okay sister I am here" How sweet is that! She is such a great big sister and I can tell already that they will be great friends some day.

Kinley wanted to be like Gracie so I made her her own place to lay down. I love both their faces in this. Gracie has always made this face. It used to be in a tight "o" shape all the time and now it has sort of loosened into a look of curiosity.

Gracie at One Month

This picture was actually taken at about 5 weeks. I want to get a picture by this bear every month so I can more easily see how she is growing. I can't believe how big is getting. Ryan and I joke daily that I think she is getting bigger every single day. She has lots of rolls all over and I love those chubby cheeks. Miss Gracie is the best little one ever. She already sleeps pretty much all night and is usually a very happy baby. She did start to develop some pretty intense acid reflux around 4 weeks so we got right on some prevacid and she is doing much better. Words just simply cannot express our great love for her and how thankful that we are to have her in our lives. She was meant for our family and it feels like she has always been here. I especially love the little cooing sounds she makes when she is sleeping on my chest and the little attempts at smiles she is making. I love that she holds my fingers when she is nursing and that she looks at me with this look like she completely trusts that I will take such great care of her. I just love you Gracie with all my heart!

Just a cute little face. I am not sure if she is trying to smile or poop????

The first time I put her in her play mat. She was not sure she was enjoying it all that much. She just kept looking at me like why am I down here and you are up there???

This is my favorite thing! I love when she will just cuddle up on me and fall asleep. She was totally out and I love how her little mouth relaxed so much it could not stay closed. I could hold her forever like this. Most days that's all I do during Kinely's nap time is hold Gracie while she sleeps :)

Halloween 2010

Yes I know it is less than a week until Christmas and I am just getting around to putting Halloween pics up. That is just the way my life works now. I am spending what little time I have playing with my girls when I am not nursing, burping, or changing diapers. Gracie has been such an amazing baby, but for some reason I am not able to squeeze all the hours out of the day that I would like. Anyways enough of that. Here is Kinley and her Daddy carving her pumpkin. The funny thing was that Ryan was way more into it than she was. She wanted to help but Ryan is an expert carver so he has to make it just right. They had a great time though. This was a couple of days before Halloween but as you can see Kinley did not want to wait any longer to wear her " pink dinohor" (as she calls it) costume! She looked so cute in it. My favorite part was walking behind her and seeing her tail wag from side to side :) She is at such a fun stage!

The whole family all dressed up. Ryan was Brett Micheals. I was a flapper girl. Kinley was a pink dinosaur and miss Gracie was just a cute little pink skeleton. I didn't want to force her into an uncomfortable bulky costume, so we just got her this little glow in the dark outfit at old navy. We took Kinley to trick or treat at some friends house and while we were there we had them take a picture of all of us together. Kinley was so excited about what they gave her when she said " Trick or Treat"! They gave her a can of her own pepsi! They know our little girl all to well :) She loved it. We also took her to the ward trunk or treat the night before and she just had a ball. She walked very fast from trunk to trunk and had not problem reaching in her tiny little hand for a treat. I even got her to stop and few times to say " Thank you". I had just as much fun taking her. I love seeing my little girl do things that I myself remember doing when I was little. I just love her!

My two girls all dressed up. Kinley was excited she got to hold Gracie for a few moments. Gracie was not so excited however. I love that Kinley still had her elmo bucket from last year to go Trick or Treating with. She is a pro at it now! Notice her cute tail sticking out in the back :)

Just one more cute picture of my "pink dinohor" :)
