Month to Month
This is Kinley one month old. I decided to take a picture of her every month
next to the same teddy bear that Grandma Becky gave her when she was born.
This way we can see how much she is growing.
Our little Kinley has found a new toy-her fists. She realized that she has hands about one week ago. It was very exciting. She tries to fit her whole fist in her mouth and we are just hoping that someday it doesn't get stuck :) Most of the time she just gags though. Someday she will learn. A few days ago we looked at her and she had slobber from eyebrow to eyebrow and all over both cheeks. It was adorable.
Blessing Dress
Here is a photo of Kinley in her blessing dress. We must have taken her headband off and forgot to put in back on her before we took the photo, oh well. But this photo gives you a close up of what her dress looked like. It was silky and had some
embroidery and white beads on it. Natalie loved it and made sure that Kinley was accessorized with a little white bracelet.
Kinley's Blessing Day
Here is a photo from Kinley's blessing. She was blessed on January
20, 2008 by her Dad. It was a very special day and there was a lot of family there to support us. My mother Jacqueline, my sister Jennifer and my brother Chris flew out to Utah to spend a week with us and were there for Kinley's blessing. Natalie's parents Dale and Becky were there along with her two brothers Bart, Barry, her little sister Cyndi, and many other family members and close friends.
Kinley looked so beautiful in her white dress and headband. I was a bit nervous giving her the first on many father's blessings, but from what people said, I didn't sound nervous. Kinley was great during the blessing, she did not make a sound, she was just happy being bounced up and down by all of the men in the circle. Then when I held her up in the air for everyone to see, she raised her left arm and it looked as if she was waving to the crowd.
