What a Beautiful Baby!

As I was just posting all of her Birthday pics I decided to go back and look at all of her pictures from the last year. Here are just some of my favorites. This was the morning after Kinley was born. She was not the typical baby. She wanted to stretch out and just lay there. Most babies like to be wrapped up tight, but not Kinley she wanted to be free and she still has such a free spirit.

This was the night we brought Kinley home. We just sat on the couch and stared at her for what seemed like hours. I could not even believe I was so blessed to be this precious, beautiful, little girls mother. I already loved her so much it brought me to tears and it still does.

Kinley is just a few days old here and was already showing us how to smile. I am sure it wasn't intentional but we didn't care, we still loved it everytime she did it.

This is Kinley in her carseat for the first time. She was all ready to head out on her first journey. I can't even believe how small she was then and how much she has grown since. I just wanted to post some of these pictures, and for jounals sake, tell Kinley how much I love her. You are the light of my life. You have brought our family so much joy since you have been on this Earth. You have taught me so much and for that I am eternally greatful. This year has not been easy, and at times I am sure you deserved better from me, but it has been the best year of my life! Thank you for choosing me to be your Mommy! Happy Birthday Kinley!

Birthday Cakes and Pony Rides

Right away we knew that Kinley was not going to get to dirty playing with her Birthday cake. She kept pulling her hands away and looking at my like "What do you want me to do with this, it is gross":)

Well eventually I put her hands in it for her and got her dirty. She then kept trying to shake it off of her hands, but would not put it in her mouth despite all our coaxing.

Now she decided to just pick at it for awhile. Silly girl :) She does not like to be dirty.

On her actual Birthday we took her the see the animals at a local animal farm since that has always been her favorite thing to do. Her Daddy even gave her her first pony. Well a ride anyway, but I am sure he would have bought it for her if she wanted it :) She did quite know what to think about and was happy for the first few times around and then decided that she had enough.

More Birthday pics!

I have not yet learned how to post more than 4 pics at a time through Picassa, so sorry that all the post are all split up. But here is Kinley being the life of her party. She was loving the attention from everyone and all the other kids to play with. If you saw the many bows on her head it is because she is in love with bows and wants to wear them all at one.

This is one of the few pictures we have of us and Kinley on her Birthday, and best of all she is smiling. Here we are with some of our good friends Andy and Consuelo. They love Kinley so much and she sure loves them!

Sorry this picture is blurry but it is the only one that we have of us three on her Birthday. Apparently with all the crazyness we forgot to get one.

As you can see she is already not very excited about her Birthday cake. She was probably just wondering why everyone was looking at her and singing and laughing.

Kinley's First Birthday!!

So I am a little bit behind on my blogging, but hey when am I not:) Kinley turned One on the 6th of December!! I can't even believe how fast time has gone by. I spent most of the day thinking about the day that she was born. It is crazy how far our family has come. Kinley is growing so fast, even though she is still the smallest one year old I have ever seen. We had a little birthday party for her on the 5th and then we just spent the whole day on the 6th doing things for Kinley. I hope she had a good day! Here she is starting to unwrap some of her gifts from our great friends. Of course she absolutley loved everything!

Grandma, Grandpa, and Auntie Jenn come to visit!!

A few weeks ago Ryan's parents and oldest sister Jenn came to visit us. I regretfully didn't get more pictures of them with Kinley, but here are a few that I did get. On the last day that they were here we went up to Gardener Village. We had a great lunch and walked around to see all the little shops. Kinley's favorite part was when she got to watch the little ducks walk around. Of course she loves animals. She was also very fond of her Grandma Jackie by the time they had to go home. We were very sad when they left and we already can't wait to see them in the summer.

Belle's Birthday!

Barry and Kellie decided to let a share a few minutes with Belle on her first birthday.Kinley was asleep when they got here and so was Belle. Well when Kinley woke up and I brought her out they both kind of looked at me funny. Then they started laughing because Belle was wearing the exact same outfit. I guess great minds think alike :) Happy Birthday Belle!!!

This picture just melts my heart!

We had a night filled with many errands and so needless to say I didn't feel like cooking anything. So we made a little trip over to my good friends Wendy's Drive Thru. We were all having a little picknick on the floor and Kinley was totally into it. She loved being able to just reach onto her Dad's lap and find something yummy to eat. Now we know it is probably not the best food for a one year old to eat, but HEY at least she was eating. :)

Wow she is excited!

This is Kinley watching the little monkeys at the Zoo. She really wanted to just go and play and I am sure she could not figure out why we would not just let her down and play with them.

Kinley loves those pigs!

Sorry I can't turn the picture so you can see it easier but I still love this video. She is trying to sound jut like the little piggies. She is just so much fun!!:)

More Fun Zoo pics

Here are just a few more pictures from the Zoo. Kinley absolutley loved every minute of it. She doesn't look like it in some pictures, but I promise she is a big time animal lover. Her favorite was the little monkeys. They were swinging around and just about her size so she was amazed. :) It is so fun taking your child to do new things and seeing how much they love it. She didn't really care for the bigger animals but maybe just because they were just sitting there and not moving around.

She also really liked the cats. This one kept pacing back and forth. I thought she would be scared because he was hissing and kindof scary to me but she loved it.

Happy Halloween

This was Kinley's first Halloween. We wanted to do a family theme so we found a cute little flower costume for Kinley and Natalie dressed up as a gardener and I was a farmer. You can see the little watering can that Natalie carried around with her a a prop. Kinley loved her costume. We put it on her to show a few friends and she didn't want to take it off. We thought that she would hate havign the hood up on her head, but she didn't mind a bit. We went to the Willit's Halloween party and it was a lot of fun. Halloween is their favorite holiday and they go all out. Their house was decorated with tons of pumpkins, spider webs, a smoke machine, great costumes, etc. You name it they had it. It was a lot of fun, Kinley really enjoy it.

Family night at Hee Haw Farms

So we decided to take Kinley to a fun little farm by our house the other night. She had soooo much fun!! She loved the animals and would have just jumped right the coral with them if we would have let her. She was screaming and flapping her hands at the animals. I will post video of it later. :) Here we are on the fun little hay ride!! Kinley just stared at the tractor the whole time because it was so loud. She loved the mini horses and the little piggies the most. We think it was because they were making noises and because they were little just like her.
